years experience in the advertising and marketing industry, David Turnbull boasts over 30 years in hospitality and managing
Director Gary Steward was a founding director of Alan Boswell Insurance.
 There can't be many people in the region who haven't come across Russell Evans. Charming, passionate, forward-thinking and extremely gregarious, to say that he gets around a bit is something of an understatement. What's amazing is that he manages to pack all of his business activities in at the same time as being a dedicated father (to two children) and husband. As the team's marketing communications expert, it's Russell's job to ensure that justjobsnorfolk says all the right things to all the right people (if you've seen our comprehensive advertising campaign, you'll know that he did a tremendous job). Which is not surprising really, given that Russell is also the Managing Director of The Works, one of Norwich's biggest and best advertising agencies. And as an honorary local (he's been here for over 20 years), and as someone who adores Norfolk, Russell is perfectly placed to know a thing or two about the local jobs scene.  As if having a highly successful, thirty-year career in the Leisure and Hospitality Industry wasn't enough, David can also boast experience in shoes, cars and trucks, jewellery, electronics, engineering and even boxing! But really, his passion for pubs is what makes him tick - ever since the day his father (a publican himself of 30 years standing) encouraged him to get involved. From the Lord Nelson in Hempnall, through to the Blue Boar in Sprowston, the Walnut Tree Shades in Norwich and Tommy T's, David is now best known for The Lawyer, one of Norwich's most popular, and classy, city centre pubs. And he still had time for two marriages, four great kids, and a thirty-year dedication to the Norwich and Norfolk LVA (Licensed Victuallers Association)! Of course, working within the Hospitality Industry has given David unique, hands-on experience with the frustrations of recruiting good people. Which is why he was so determined to make recruitment in the region so much easier - for both employers and job-seekers alike.  The sporty one of the team, Gary Steward is one of those people who just doesn't know when to stop. Not content with being the Managing Director of justjobsnorfolk, he also finds time to indulge his passions for speed, sport and socialising. And that's all at the same time as being married with two children. With a career that takes in Provident Mutual, GRE and a lengthy, and highly successful, stint with the Alan Boswell Group, Gary's business and recruitment credentials are second to none. But it's not all work, work, work. Next year he's planning to race a classic 356 Porsche in the Top Hat Series and will be rowing a boat across the North Sea to raise funds for the Balloons For Hearts appeal. So not only is he a man of action, he's also a thoroughly decent chap!  Marketing Manager Although she's young, there are few people around who can match Helen's insights into marketing and strategic planning. CIM qualified (and currently studying for IDM), she has five years' experience of working in one of the region's best advertising agencies. In what spare time she has, she likes playing tennis, horse riding and spending quality time with her daughter and partner in their newly-acquired countryside cottage. |
